Daaaammmmnnn this is gonna be a good year! I forgot about most of these, but this serves as an awesome reminder. Bionic Commando 2, Trine 2, Fez, Bastion... these all look great!
Dude, you need to spoiler alert this. That RDR entry has some MAJOR MAJOR spoilers in it!
Very cool. I need to show this one to my folks.
What, no love for Jeff Kramer as Francis York Morgan?
I like the concept art, though I'm still skeptical of this one. I want to see what they're doing that makes it so different. I did like Super Scribblenauts a lot though, so I'll keep my fingers crossed.
Not labeling which levels have bandages was one of my biggest gripes of the game. This'll help.
This was one of the highlights of PAX for me and I don't typically play the genre. From the half-hour I played they definitely succeeded at their goal of accessibility (and depth from what I could tell).
I like the look of the game, but don't see myself building levels, and I doubt many users will create levels better than the classics in MM2. But if it's cheap enough I may buy it just for the MM2 remake alone and not bother with the other features.
Oh man, I'd forgotten about King Kong. Really great game that I've always regretted not buying on clearance.
Sounds a bit "meh" to me. I never really got the appeal of these games and was hoping Reach would change my mind. I still have yet to play it, but despite the high score, this review didn't make me think it would convert non-fans. The "too much defending" bits sum up my biggest qualm with the series thus far.
Great article that's not nearly as tongue-in-cheek as the title would suggest. It's rare that I ever read a top 5 or 10 list and find myself surprised anymore, but these were some clever (and valid) life lessons.
If only real football had more Bohemian Rhapsody...
I played this at PAX and it looked amazing. Can't wait for the final game to come out.
Side note: Does anyone else feel like half the games they're looking forward to this year are downloadable?
I was rather fond of the first Call of Juarez and always meant to play the sequel. Thanks for reminding me.
I never did understand why it matters if street date is broken. It's not like the last Harry Potter book where they have to worry about the plot of BackBreaker getting ruined.
It's like the David taking on the Goliath of every sports movie ever. You gotta root for the underdog, yo!
I hardly use PSN as is, but if I had to pay for it I'd probably never use it.
I'd go with someone from Sly Cooper's gang over Daxter any day, but it's otherwise a fine list.
It's a scary time we live in. I don't think this will pass, but if it does may god have mercy on us all.
I do love the cat pic.
